Cost of Projects
Workshop costs depend on the nature of the project, the travel involved, the materials used and the preparation required. Basic packages start from £150 for a half day and £250 for a full day with prices negotiable for a series of workshops.
Melting Pot Arts is not a funded organisation and must ensure that all project costs are met by the groups we work with. We work closely with every client to find a project that matches the budget available and ensure our costs are as low as they can be.
We can provide information on funding opportunities and offer support with funding bids. Although we are not funding experts a lot of our groups have been successful in the past.
We operate our projects on a not-for-profit basis. Every cost is detailed in the quotation we provide on our proposals. An estimation of material and travel costs are included which are confirmed once final project details are agreed and accurate costs can be given.

Our fees are in line with other arts organisations in the area and reflect current best practise in the arts. Our daily rate includes 1 hour of preparation and usually covers everything required to prepare for a workshop. Some of our artists are specialists in their field and require a fee higher than our standard rates. In these cases we will discuss this with each client.
Our overhead fee also covers basic project management and planning costs with only our more extensive projects requiring a further fee for these services.
