Junk Drumming
Learn how to drum, compose, record and perform with our Junk Orchestra. Ideal for anyone who loves to make lots of noise these sessions explore the unusual sounds that can be created from junk. Members use water barrels, dust bin lids, tumble driers and other bits of junk to create unique pieces which they can perform and record. The group provides an opportunity to play in an ensemble without having to provide an instrument. Sessions teach drumming technique, explore rhythms from around the world, song writing and musicianship.
