Darlington Arts Academy now runs two groups for adult singers

Just Sing is a group which runs five week courses especially for shy or inexperienced adult singers. The courses provide an enjoyable gentle introduction to singing and gives confidence to new members.

Sessions will explore a variety of music in a relaxed setting under the direction of vocal tutor Rebecca McGarvie. She says; Everyone can sing, some people just need a little more encouragement than others! Singing is a real feel good activity which is relaxing and fun. Everyone is welcome - if you think you cant sing come along and see if we can change your mind!

SING - Wednesdays 7 - 9pm, Bondgate Methodist Church Hall Welcome sessions for new members are held at the start of each term.

SING is a lively group with over 50 members. The group work towards performances and events and sing a huge variety of music. SING is a more progressive group than Just Sing and is ideal for those with some confidence who are ready for the challenge of preparing for a performance.
